Birla Mandir is situated in the heart of capital city Hyderabad. It is built by Raja Birla with fine marble brought from Rajasthan in the year 1976. It seems it required more than 2000 tons of white marbles to build. Temple with it height of 280 feet on hill rock of Palapahad.
Mahatma Gandhi inaugurated the temple with the promise that there will be no caste feeling or differentiating the person with any religious. Everyone is welcomed to enter the only place.

It is also known as Lord Venkateswraa temple or Tripathi Temple. It is so called tripathi temple because there was a devotee who loves lord venkateswara and goes every year to tripathi to worship , but once fails due to illness and dispressed. Then lord appeared to him in dream and said I am here near to him. Then he visited the place which covered with huge tree as of forest. There is find the statue of Lord Venkatewara with both side Maatha Sridevi & Bhoodevi. It is very significant image with very less found this type of statues. The temple is situated near Chikur in Moinabad Mandal of RR Dirstrict and at distance of 17km from Medhipatnam.
The Lord Balaji is also known famous here for Visa Balaji, as many people where blessed who has problem in getting visa.
